What follows is a comprehensive and growing list of “jazz guitar” practicalities. I say “jazz guitar” but it’s such a broad term. What I really mean is advanced harmony although there is some triad stuff there too.
There are interviews and PDF’s that talk about “Beyond Harmony” but is vital when playing good music. These items include texture, phrasing, polyrhythms, counterpoint and much more. Don’t forget to APPLY this stuff, don’t just read it but apply what you’ve read to a standard, a different tune or even your own compositions.
Finally in the bonus section you’ll find lists of great jazz players, guitar forums and over time much more.
So dive in, practise hard and stay tuned!!
