I created Modern Guitar Harmony to help guitarists worldwide reach the next level in their playing.
One of my deepest passions is harmony, from the impressionistic sounds of Ravel and Debussy to the modern explorations of Ben Monder and Mick Goodrick. Modern Guitar Harmony grew out of online meetings about Mick Goodrick’s Almanacs, which inspired our free resources page and the course Harmonic Explorations Using the Goodrick Almanacs.
Today, MGH offers advanced jazz guitar lessons, eBooks, courses, and mentorship programs — all designed to give serious players the tools to expand their harmonic vocabulary and improvisational freedom.
